You explained (during the Pre-Neon Genesis History) that the origin of the human race and the angels is due to the two moons arriving on earth. You also mentionned the ancestrial race which is responsible of the creation of these moons. And I don't quite remember any of it being explained in the serie (I only watched the anime serie of 26 episodes + the film that was released a year after), so did I miss the information ? Where was it ? Or was it explained elsewhere ? In fact I didn't really heard about the dead sea manuscripts (maybe once??) So did I just not pay enough attention ? (I kinda binge watched the show so it's possible) Thanks a lot !!

Same as many here, I have seen the show 100 times over and will watch it 100 times more. I know the lore, but I have never even really thought about it in chronological order and didn't realize the subtle way things connect. I missplaced some events in the timeline in my mind too. Its really cool to see the story in this way.

I watched this anime, for pure animation chaos only Didnt make sense out of it, but felt like it was, but i was lazy, so no research was done. Thanks to you now i understand that I was close to understanding FLCL is all about maturing, growing up. But its only first season, want to see more about others. Second wasnt bad, third and fourth season were like a spinoff, cause it wasnt as chaotic and straightforward, and more SoL-like. But maybe there is something, would gladly watch your explanation

Not many comments here. Once I lived near Seattle crica 1990. I was little and we lived across the street from a Hollywood video. On the weekends my parents would give me money to rent whatever movies I wanted. (Anime was not rated back then) one of the anime I would sometimes get was one where the kids at a college would fight each other by making each other reach orgasim. Who ever came 1st, was the loser. This and other classics like Akira, ninja scroll; wicked city etc etc were also available. That is what my first exposure to anime was. THANK GOD THIS CHANNEL IS MY SPIRIT ANIMAL

8:25 I always wondered if the English voice actress sold this line the right way. From her expression, and the fact that she's calling him "Takkun", it almost seems as though she's imitating Mamimi because she think's it's what Naota likes. Hearing the Japanese actress, it almost sounds like she's emulating the childish way of speaking that Mamimi uses. That said, it's hard to gather those kinds of details when you're not a native speaker lol.

Tsui no sora suprised me for an unexpected reason. Long story short, this terrible ova is based on an old visual novel, that visual novel got a kind of reimagining 10 years later as Wonderful Everyday, which is actually a really good visual novel, if a weird one and full of trauma inducing scenes. I knew the story behind it but somehow I didn't know that there was this terrible ova of tsui no sora. I watched it and holy crap, is it terrible and weird as hell to watch if you've read wonderful everyday like me. The video doesn't mention it but it has some of the most absurd censorship I ever saw. They no joke, pixelate to an extreme degree like 1/4 of the screen, you can't even tell what is really happening in most reproduction scenes due to it. This feels like if I got myself very drunk and fell asleep while reading wonderful everyday and this is what I dreamed up.
